For most of you who hang out with us on a frequent basis, you know we are obsessed with trends in Asia, especially ones that translate well to the west. The phone/tablet, or Phablet as we call it, is a phenomenon sweeping Asia, but is not something I think we will adopt quickly in the US given our odd obsession with apple products. iPhone is actually not popular in Asia, I think for the reason that the screen is miniature in comparison to their South Korean competitor's products.
We are constantly on the lookout for the biggest or best Phablet. Well, in shanghai I think we found a winner.
Please note the serving platter sized object the woman is holding up to her head. She was basically talking an iPad. Perfect for talking on the phone or watching IMAX movies. She wins.
